A Working Group launches surveys for children and parents
A Working Group, established as part of the IBU Development Department’s Mentorship Programme, invites all interested participants to take part in two surveys supporting the evaluation of the Biathlon 4 All project.
Conducting these surveys is one of the key tasks defined by the Working Group to assess the effects and outcomes of Biathlon 4 All. Launched in 2023, the project aims to promote Olympic Biathlon and Para Biathlon through the use of laser and optical rifles in a wide range of accessible activities, including try-outs, training sessions, competitions, challenges, master classes and exhibition events.
Two surveys are available for the following target groups:
Children (for children under the age of 12) - access the survey here
Parents (for parents with children involved in or interested in biathlon) - access the survey here
The objectives of the surveys are to:
Understand the status of engagement in biathlon among children and parents
Collect insights to inform the continued development of the Biathlon 4 All project
All interested participants are warmly encouraged to take part. Both surveys are open until 28 February 2026.
