The Biathlon for All project is making strides in Denmark, where it recently brought together 850 high school students as part of a team-building event to kick off the school year. In late August and early September, these 15-year-olds experienced biathlon firsthand, using the sport to foster new friendships and encourage teamwork at the start of high school. To make this event possible, Biathlon 4 All Denmark developed a specialized IR-Biathlon Education program for instructors, many of whom were new to biathlon and shooting sports. This unique training ensured that instructors were well-prepared to introduce students to the sport in a safe and engaging way. This initiative demonstrates how biathlon can serve as a powerful tool for building connections and creating memorable experiences for young people in Denmark.
