On 13 May, the “Giornata Giovani Lombardia” took place at the iconic San Siro venue in Milan. The large-scale sports village was dedicated to secondary school classes from across the Lombardy region and provided students with the opportunity to discover and experience a wide variety of sports activities.

A total of 63 different disciplines were available for pupils to try throughout the day. Among the highlights was the Biathlon 4 All stand, organised in collaboration with coaches from the Italian military’s sports group, where participants had the chance to test their shooting skills using laser rifles.

The event attracted a strong turnout and generated great enthusiasm among the students. Around 350 pupils aged between 11 and 20 visited the Biathlon 4 All area and experienced the excitement and concentration required in the sport of biathlon.

The initiative once again demonstrated the growing interest in biathlon among young people in Italy and highlighted the importance of introducing winter sports to new audiences through inclusive and accessible activities.
