Biathlon 4 All expands to Volyn Region with first Master Class event
A new chapter in grassroots sport development unfolded on Sunday, 15 March 2026, as the first Biathlon 4 All Master Class was held in the Volyn region, marking an important step in expanding youth engagement in biathlon across Ukraine.
The event, hosted in the city of Volodymyr, was made possible with the support of Nataliia Khomiuk, Director of the Volodymyr Sports Lyceum. It brought together 20 children aged between 12 and 16, who participated alongside their parents in an inclusive and educational sporting experience.
A key role in organising the session was played by Serhii Seniuk, a young coach and physical education teacher, whose leadership reflects a growing movement of emerging sports professionals willing to embrace innovative initiatives.
Lily Budzulyak, B4A Project Coordinator in Ukraine, highlighted the significance of the event, stating: “We are very proud that young coaches are not afraid to take on new challenges and try themselves in such projects as well.”
The MasterClass focused on introducing participants to the fundamentals of biathlon, combining physical activity with skill-building exercises in a supportive and community-oriented environment.
The successful launch in Volodymyr signals strong potential for further expansion of the Biathlon4All programme in the region, with organisers optimistic about inspiring more young people to engage in sport and healthy lifestyles.
