At the CBDN stand during the COB Expo, visitors were invited to take on a unique challenge. The COB Expo — organised by the Comité Olímpico do Brasil (Brazilian Olympic Committee) — is a major multi-sport event that brings together athletes, federations and fans to celebrate and promote Olympic sports in Brazil.

CBDN — the Confederação Brasileira de Desportos na Neve (Brazilian Confederation of Snow Sports), the governing body for winter sports in Brazil — showcased the discipline through an interactive experience. Participants began with one minute of skiing on a SkiErg, a training machine widely used by professional athletes, followed by an attempt to hit five targets using a laser rifle.

To help visitors get the most out of the activity, CBDN athletes were on hand to provide guidance. Among them was Wilbert Abade (@abade_wil), a Brazilian biathlete who actively promotes the sport. He offered instructions and tips to help participants improve their aim and better understand the demands of biathlon.

The interactive challenge offered a glimpse into the excitement and skill required in the sport, bringing a taste of winter competition to a wider audience.
