“Biathlon for Everyone” event in Mieroszów brings together 231 participants

On 16 May, Mieroszów hosted another successful edition of the “Biathlon For Everyone” event, attracting 231 participants of all ages. Organised by the Polish Biathlon Association, the competition combined short-distance running with laser rifle shooting, allowing children, young people and adults to experience biathlon in a safe and accessible format.

The event formed part of the “Popularisation of Biathlon among Children and Youth” programme, which aims to encourage physical activity and promote biathlon within local communities.

Competitors took part in several age categories, with every participant receiving a commemorative medal and the best performers awarded prizes. Thanks to the use of safe laser rifles, the event created an exciting and family-friendly atmosphere for both competitors and spectators, while promoting healthy lifestyles and community engagement.
