It is one of the largest initiatives promoting physical activity in Poland. The “Biathlon for Everyone” series is returning for its twelfth edition. Organisers have announced the list of locations that participants will visit in 2026.

The season will begin on 25 April in Duszniki-Zdrój. The competition will then move on to locations including Piechowice, Czarny Bór and Mieroszów. The calendar also features Kudowa-Zdrój, Ludwikowice Kłodzkie and Klikuszowa. The grand finale is scheduled for September.

For years, the series has attracted entire families. Children, teenagers and adults all take part. The competition format is simple. Participants complete a short running course and then fire shots using laser rifles. The equipment is safe, which means the events can be organised in parks and town centres.

The programme forms part of the National Biathlon Development Programme. Its aim is to encourage the youngest participants to stay active and to show that sport can be accessible to everyone. Clubs, local authorities and community organisations are all involved in organising the events.

The first edition took place in 2014, when the series consisted of six stops. The record came in 2018, with as many as 18 locations. Last season, more than 2,500 participants took part.

Further details regarding registration will be announced soon. One thing is certain – biathlon will once again be brought closer to the people.
