Biathlon in the heart of Dobbiaco/Toblach

Biathlon was part of an evening festival held in the centre of Dobbiaco/Toblach on Wednesday, 26 August, giving locals and tourists the opportunity to experience the sport.

Organised by the local tourist office, the festival attracted plenty of visitors throughout the evening. The local ski club set up a laser rifle shooting range, where participants could test their marksmanship and get a first taste of biathlon.

Around 60 children and 15 adults took their turn at the range, with many of the participants visiting the area as tourists.

The well-attended event provided a great opportunity to bring biathlon into the heart of the town and introduce the sport to new participants in a fun and accessible setting.
