Biathlon Legends join Biathlon 4 All to inspire new generations

German biathlon legends Arnd Peiffer, Benedikt Doll and Magdalena Neuner brought star power to the Biathlon 4 All experience, visiting all three shooting ranges for a special one-hour session dedicated to inspiring young talent and biathlon newcomers.

Moderated by Gerold Sattlecker, Head of the IBU Academy, the sessions opened with a short interview in which each athlete reflected on their early steps in the sport. Afterwards, the legends spent time with visitors, demonstrating shooting techniques, sharing personal insights, and offering encouragement to those trying biathlon for the first time.

Magdalena Neuner highlighted the essence of the sport, reminding the audience that biathlon is much more than precise shooting:

“Biathlon is an endurance sport, and it’s not only about the shooting. It’s about skiing and shooting together. If you’re interested, look around and find your nearest club - you might discover a sport you truly love.”

Their presence created memorable moments for fans and participants of all ages, helping to further strengthen the connection between biathlon’s rich history and its future generation of athletes.
