Biathlon proves popular at Children’s Festival in Ahornach

On Sunday, 9 August 2026, a children’s festival took place in Ahornach, Italy, attracting both tourists and local families. As part of the festival, two shooting lanes with electronic rifles were set up, giving everyone who was interested the opportunity to try their hand at shooting.

By the end of the day, 67 different children under the age of 15 had tested their shooting skills – and many of them enjoyed it so much that they came back more than five times! Ten adults also took the opportunity to test their marksmanship.

From 10.00 a.m. until 5.30 p.m., the shooting range was very busy and attracted a great deal of interest from visitors throughout the day.
