Children discover biathlon in Brașov on International Children's Day

On 1 June, Romania continued the Biathlon 4 All project with a special International Children's Day celebration in Brașov, dedicated to introducing children and families to biathlon through fun and engaging activities.

Throughout the day, children and families enjoyed mini biathlon experiences, sports games, coordination exercises, and interactive workshops tailored to younger participants. Family-oriented activities encouraged parents and children to take part together and discover the sport in a welcoming environment.

A dedicated mini biathlon competition gave children the opportunity to test their newly acquired skills in a friendly and supportive setting. The event concluded with an awards ceremony and recreational activities involving national team athletes, who shared their experiences and inspired participants to continue their sporting journey.

The celebration highlighted the values of inclusion, participation, and enjoyment of sport, while introducing a new generation to the exciting world of biathlon.
