The Chungbuk Laser Competition, held on 17–18 October 2025 at Chungbuk University, brought together 206 participants across a range of age groups, highlighting growing interest in biathlon-style events in Korea.

Competitors included 143 elementary pupils, 33 middle school students, 21 high school athletes, and nine university participants. Each category followed tailored race formats around the stadium plaza, combining running loops with prone (P) and standing (S) shooting stages.

Distances varied by age group, from shorter 100–200 metre loops for younger participants to more demanding 500 metre courses for high school and university competitors. The structured format allowed athletes to test both endurance and shooting accuracy in a competitive yet accessible environment.

The event demonstrated the continued expansion of laser biathlon, providing a clear pathway for young athletes to develop their skills and progress within the sport.
