Dedication across the distance: Three participants complete all 12 Biathlon for Everyone events in Poland

The 2026 Biathlon for Everyone (Biathlon dla Każdego) season brought together 2,455 participants at 12 events across Poland. Among them, three competitors stood out for an exceptional achievement: Rafał Wolski, Patryk Banasiak and Joanna Michalak took part in every single event of the season.

Their commitment meant travelling across the country from April to September. The series visited locations from Duszniki-Zdrój and Piechowice in the west to Iwonicz-Zdrój in south-eastern Poland – with nearly 600 kilometres separating Piechowice and Iwonicz-Zdrój alone.

For Rafał Wolski and Patryk Banasiak, completing all 12 competitions was accompanied by impressive results. Rafał finished the season as the winner of the 2026 men’s overall classification, while Patryk secured second place overall.

Joanna Michalak was the only woman to compete at all 12 locations. Her dedication and consistency were also rewarded with victory in the 2026 women’s overall classification.

Since 2014, Biathlon for Everyone has aimed to make the sport accessible to children, young people and adults by bringing running and laser rifle shooting into communities across Poland. The commitment shown by Rafał, Patryk and Joanna demonstrates that the series has become more than individual competitions – it has created a community that participants are willing to follow across the country.

After 12 events and hundreds of kilometres on the road, their achievement provides a fitting conclusion to another successful Biathlon for Everyone season.
