Frassinoro Summer Biathlon Festival draws crowds with ‘Biathlon 4 All’ experience

Frassinoro Summer Biathlon Festival took place on 27 and 28 June. The ‘Biathlon 4 All’ shooting range, equipped with electronic rifles, was open to anyone interested on both days. Children in particular took the opportunity to test their marksmanship, but the odd world-class athlete also went head-to-head with their teammates.

Saturday morning was dedicated to the kids categories. The biathletes kicked off the proceedings, shooting with air rifles. The cross-country race followed. In the afternoon, the championship race got underway, featuring numerous international elite athletes. The large crowd of spectators were treated to some very exciting heats.

Sunday was all about cycling. The children kept popping back to the Biathlon 4 All shooting range after completing their training laps. The Frassinoro Summer Biathlon Festival will be organised again next year and is set to attract even more interest!
