Grisons Biathlon Junior Championships thrill in Lenzerheide

On Saturday, 13 September 2025, the Grisons Biathlon Junior Championships were held at the Roland Arena in Lenzerheide. Staged as part of the IBU Regional Event, the competition attracted numerous young biathletes and drew a lively crowd of spectators.

Following a joint warm-up session with Swiss-Ski, the children lined up for the mass start. Out on the course, speed was paramount, while at the shooting range laser rifles were in use. The contest demanded both concentration and stamina, with thrilling position battles fought right up to the finish line.

At the subsequent award ceremony, the winners proudly received their medals, though every participant was recognised and celebrated for their efforts. The day concluded with a grilled sausage – a fitting and convivial end to an exciting afternoon of sport.
