The International Biathlon Union (IBU) has invited National Federations to take part in the upcoming Biathlon for All Project Coordinators Meeting, set to take place from 29 June to 1 July 2026 in Salzburg, Austria.

The meeting comes at a key moment for the Biathlon for All (B4A) programme. Since its launch in 2023, hundreds of events have been delivered worldwide, supported by the distribution of more than 645 laser and optical rifle sets to National Federations.

Under the motto “Grow as we do,” the event will bring together project coordinators and federation representatives to reflect on the programme’s progress, exchange experiences, and shape its future direction. The IBU Development Department aims to create a platform for open, face-to-face discussions, enabling participants to share insights from their individual initiatives and learn from one another.

The three-day programme will consist of information sessions and interactive discussions designed to support and motivate coordinators in their ongoing work to develop biathlon at grassroots level and improve accessibility.

The meeting will be held at the Rif Sports Centre (Universitäts- und Landessportzentrum Salzburg/Rif), a leading training and development facility in Austria.

The IBU has invited one representative from each National Federation to attend. Federations wishing to participate are asked to register by 20 April 2026 via the official registration platform. Further details regarding accommodation, meals and travel contributions are available in the official invitation document.

The event is expected to play an important role in strengthening collaboration across the biathlon community and ensuring the continued development of the Biathlon for All programme.
