International Biathlon Day 2025 in Chinese Taipei
Taipei will celebrate International Biathlon Day on 24 May 2025 with a unique outdoor experience set in a scenic forest park, combining running and shooting in a fun and family-friendly format. To ensure safety and a smooth flow of participants, the event will use an individual 30-second start system across five shooting stations. Children will follow a short, 40-metre orienteering route through the forest before reaching the shooting range, where they will test their accuracy and, depending on results, complete a penalty lap. They will then run to the finish line, with the total course measuring around 70 metres. Designed to introduce biathlon in an engaging and accessible way, the event encourages kids to enjoy the sport in a natural setting while developing confidence and coordination. All participating children will receive an eco-friendly cup bag from Biathlon4All (B4A), highlighting a commitment to sustainability alongside the promotion of sport and outdoor activity.
