International Biathlon Day 2025 in Great Britain
On 24 May 2025, British Biathlon will celebrate International Biathlon Day with a nationwide schools competition designed to raise awareness of the sport and strengthen ties with educational institutions. Schools across the UK are invited to take part in a social media-driven campaign for a chance to win a British Biathlon Experience Day. To enter, schools simply need to like and share British Biathlon’s International Biathlon Day posts, while additional entries can be secured by requesting digital assets via info@britishbiathlon.com and creating their own engaging content, such as game-face photos or branded posts. The winning school will be announced on 17 May, with the British Biathlon Team visiting the school on 23 May to deliver an exciting end-of-term experience. This initiative aims to boost engagement, showcase biathlon to a wider audience, and lay the foundation for long-term school partnerships, with support from the IBU helping to expand media reach and participation.
