North Macedonia will celebrate International Biathlon Day on 24 May 2025 with an exciting morning of activities under the theme Biathlon for All – Discover the Thrill! Held from 09:00 to 12:00 at the Winter Sports Centre in Krushevo, the event will feature free introductory sessions for the public, including safe laser rifle shooting, games for children, and basic training on biathlon techniques, safety, and rules. National athletes and coaches will be on hand to provide tips and guidance, inspiring young participants and their families to try the sport. A dedicated “Meet the Athletes” session will give attendees the chance to hear behind-the-scenes stories, ask questions, and learn more about the life of a biathlete. The day will conclude with a mini biathlon competition featuring U10, U12, and U14 categories, as well as fun mixed relay races combining athletes, guests, and members of the public, fostering community engagement and enthusiasm for biathlon.
