Ukraine will celebrate International Biathlon Day 2025 with a week-long programme of competitions and community events across multiple regions. The celebrations begin on 19 May in Bukovel with competitions between athletes from the Ivano-Frankivsk and Zakarpattia regions, welcoming spectators to enjoy the action. On 22–24 May, the Volyn region will host events for school representatives, with family activities and workshops led by Olympians Valentyna Semerenko and Olena Petrova. On 24 May, Chernihiv will feature sport school competitions, a Biathlon4All zone for spectators, and a masterclass from Nina Lemesh, while Ternopil will host youth competitions, autograph sessions, and a masterclass with Dmytro Pidruchnyi. The celebrations conclude on 27 May in Kyiv with relay competitions between sport school athletes and their families. This multi-city initiative aims to engage communities, showcase Ukrainian biathlon talent, and inspire new participants, combining high-level competition with interactive activities, family involvement, and opportunities to meet national champions.
