Join us on 24 May 2025 as the United States celebrates the first-ever International Biathlon Day, a nationwide occasion inviting communities to discover and enjoy the sport of biathlon. U.S. Biathlon clubs across the country will be hosting a variety of activities, including try-it biathlon sessions, collaborative training, rollerski opportunities, and family-friendly gatherings. Events include a joint National Team and Para Biathlon Team session in Bend, Oregon, a “Take a Shot” biathlon day at Ariens Nordic Center with obstacle courses and rifle try-outs, a junior practice and community potluck at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center, a combined biathlon and rollerski beginner session with Team Soldier Hollow, and an open biathlon clinic with WA Biathlon. In Homer, Alaska, McNeil Canyon Biathlon will welcome youth participants for rifle safety training as part of the celebration. Whether you are new to the sport or already a fan, International Biathlon Day offers the perfect chance to get involved, meet local athletes, and experience biathlon in a fun, inclusive environment.
