International Biathlon Day 2026 in Austria
Austria will celebrate International Biathlon Day 2026 on 30 May at the Skirollerzentrum Innviertel in Lohnsburg with a family-friendly “Biathlon4All” event organised by ASVÖ SC Höhnhart.
Starting from 13:00, participants and visitors will have the opportunity to discover biathlon through interactive activities including laser rifle shooting, skiroller testing, and introductory sessions designed for beginners and families. The programme will also offer opportunities to meet members and partners of SC Höhnhart and learn more about the club and the sport of biathlon.
The event will take place in a welcoming community atmosphere with entertainment, food services, and activities focused on participation, healthy lifestyles, and enjoyment of sport for all ages.
Through this celebration, Austria aims to promote biathlon as an accessible and inclusive sport while encouraging children, families, and local communities to become involved in outdoor and winter sports activities.
