International Biathlon Day 2026 in Chinese Taipei

Chinese Taipei will celebrate International Biathlon Day 2026 on 30 May in Taipei with a youth-focused laser biathlon event designed to introduce children to the sport through fun and accessible activities.
The event will begin at approximately 09:00 at the Guanshan Riverside cycling practice area in Taipei and will feature a 200-metre electronic shooting competition specially designed for children aged 9 to 14. Participation will be free of charge, with up to 200 participants expected to take part.
Organised under the framework of the International Biathlon Union together with the Chinese Taipei Modern Pentathlon and Winter Biathlon Association, the programme will focus on introducing young participants to the basics of biathlon in a safe and engaging environment using electronic laser shooting equipment.
Participants completing the event will receive a Biathlon 4 All participation certificate and commemorative gifts, while additional activities will encourage children and families to discover the values of sport, concentration, coordination, and healthy living.
Through this initiative, Chinese Taipei aims to promote youth participation in biathlon, encourage active lifestyles, and increase awareness of the sport among children, families, and local communities as part of the global celebration of International Biathlon Day.
