International Biathlon Day 2026 in Georgia

Georgia will celebrate International Biathlon Day 2026 with a Family & Community Festival bringing together athletes, families, children, and local communities for a full day of sport, entertainment, and inclusive biathlon activities.
The event programme will run from approximately 09:00 to 17:30 and will include official opening ceremonies, interactive discovery zones, family relays, youth competitions, and athlete meet-and-greet sessions. Professional athletes will take part throughout the day, offering demonstrations, coaching activities, and photo opportunities for participants.
Visitors will have the opportunity to try laser shooting in a safe and relaxed environment, take part in beginner-friendly biathlon activities, and enjoy family entertainment including music, games, and community challenges. A special Family “Fun-Biathlon” Relay will invite parents and children to complete a short running and shooting course together using laser rifles and fun penalty tasks.
The afternoon programme will also feature youth sprint races, spectator mini-competitions, para-biathlon demonstrations with adaptive equipment, and introductory roller-ski activities for children.
The event will conclude with a celebration ceremony including awards, raffle prizes, and a community group photo for the #InternationalBiathlonDay campaign.
By combining sport, education, and entertainment, the festival aims to promote active lifestyles, inclusion, and the values of biathlon while creating a memorable experience for the Georgian community.
