International Biathlon Day 2026 in Greece
Greece will celebrate International Biathlon Day 2026 with the event “Biathlon – A Summer and Winter Sport”, taking place on 30 May along the New Harbor walkway in Thessaloniki, in the Macedonia Region.
Starting at approximately 12:00, the exhibition-style event will introduce visitors and local communities to biathlon through interactive demonstrations and public activities designed to showcase the sport in an accessible and engaging way.
Held in a busy public space by the waterfront, the event aims to attract families, young people, and passers-by, encouraging them to discover biathlon and learn more about both its winter and summer formats.
Through this celebration, Greece aims to promote healthy lifestyles, increase awareness of biathlon, and introduce new audiences to the sport in a welcoming and community-focused atmosphere.
