International Biathlon Day 2026 in South Korea
The Republic of Korea will celebrate the 1st Korean International Biathlon Day on 24 May 2026 at the Children’s Garden in Seoul, located in Gwangjin-gu.
The event will focus on introducing biathlon to children and families through interactive “Try-It” zones open to participants of all ages, with particular attention given to children under the age of 12. As the venue is a popular weekend destination for families, the event aims to create a fun and welcoming environment where children can discover biathlon through practical activities and first experiences with the sport.
Building on the success of a similar event held at the same location in 2025, the Korea Biathlon Union hopes to inspire more young participants to become involved in biathlon and develop long-term interest in the sport.
Through this initiative, the Republic of Korea aims to promote active lifestyles, youth participation in sport, and greater awareness of biathlon within local communities and family audiences.
