International Biathlon Day 2026 in Spain

The Spanish Biathlon Federation will celebrate International Biathlon Day 2026 with a family-friendly event in Vielha (Val d'Aran), inviting people of all ages to discover and enjoy the sport of biathlon.
The event will take place on Saturday 30 May, from 10:00 to 13:30, at the Military Car Park in Vielha, and will be open to the public free of charge.
Participants will have the opportunity to choose their preferred activity, completing the course on inline skates, roller skis or on foot. Visitors will also be able to test their accuracy using laser rifles and official electronic targets, while learning shooting techniques and biathlon fundamentals from experienced biathletes.
Designed for children, families and sports enthusiasts alike, the event will offer an engaging introduction to biathlon through a combination of physical activity, skill and fun.
Important Information
Participants using skates must bring their own skates and helmet.
The use of poles will not be permitted for safety reasons.
In the event of rain, activities will be moved to an indoor sports hall.
The event aims to promote biathlon within the local community and inspire new generations to get involved in the sport.
Everyone is welcome to attend, test their aim and become part of the biathlon family.
