Orienteers enjoy unusual biathlon training session in Puster Valley
On 22 April, orienteers from the Puster Valley in South Tyrol (BZ) took part in a slightly different kind of training session, combining their usual endurance work with biathlon-style laser rifle shooting.
As part of the course, participants had to stop at a special shooting station where they tested their aim with laser rifles. Judging by the photos from the day, some competitors adopted particularly unusual — and very creative — shooting positions in order to hit the targets.
The innovative session provided plenty of entertainment and laughter, with all participants clearly enjoying the experience. The activity offered a fun introduction to biathlon shooting while adding an original twist to traditional orienteering training.
