Over 1,200 people enjoy the Biathlon 4 All experience at the Outdoorsportfestival in Munich

On Sunday, 28 September, the Olympiapark in Munich was once again transformed into a vast outdoor sports arena. The eighth edition of the Outdoorsportfestival featured more than 50 outdoor activities throughout the day, all ready to be discovered, tested, and – most importantly – experienced first-hand.

As part of its Biathlon 4 All project, the International Biathlon Union (IBU) hosted a five-lane shooting range, giving everyone – from children to adults – the chance to try laser rifles and discover what it feels like to be a real biathlete. From early morning until late evening, over 1,200 people tried out shooting with a laser rifle, and the queue seemed never-ending.

A wide range of other clubs, associations, and organisations presented a diverse programme of interactive sporting activities. Visitors of all ages were able to get active and explore different sports across the Hans-Jochen-Vogel-Platz, Olympiasee, the peninsula, Theatron, and even on the roof of the Kleine Olympiahalle.

A raffle with the exciting prize of two tickets for the main grandstand at the inaugural LOOP ONE Festival was another popular attraction, inviting participants to look forward to the two-day action on 18 - 19 October 2025.
