Trofeo Winter CONI 2025 in Rome showcases youth engagement in sport

The Trofeo Winter CONI 2025, held on 11 December in Rome, brought together dozens of young participants in a lively celebration of sport and play.

Organised by Brighetti Maria Antonia, the event attracted 42 children under the age of 15, with a notably strong participation of girls. Of the total, 29 were girls and 13 were boys, reflecting an encouraging level of inclusivity and engagement across genders.

The event, classified as a sports competition, centred on play-based activities designed to promote physical activity, coordination and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment. While no older youth or junior categories were involved, the focus on younger participants ensured a tailored and age-appropriate experience.

Support for the event was provided by two volunteers and one coach or instructor, who oversaw the smooth delivery of activities throughout the day.
