The peaceful woodland of St. Nikolaos Park in Naousa hosted the Summer Biathlon Children’s National Championship (CHI NC) on 18–19 October 2025, where young athletes took part in two days of exciting competition blending running and laser-rifle shooting.
Organised by the Hellenic Winter Sports Federation (E.O.X.A.), the event formed part of the national summer biathlon calendar and followed the IBU-aligned format for youth competition.

The 2025 edition featured three age groups — U12, U15, and Youth — designed to help athletes develop skill, focus, and endurance in a structured environment. Courses were set within the park’s natural surroundings, creating a welcoming setting for both competitors and spectators.

The weekend’s racing included standout performances in the Super Sprint event, where Ioannis Parisis and Vasiliki Bissa claimed victories in the Boys’ (U15) and Girls’ (U15) categories respectively.
In the same event’s overall Boys’ and Girls’ categories, Theodoros Bissas and Eleni Dimitriou took first place after consistent running and shooting performances.
The mixed individual relay concluded the programme, with the EOS Naoussa team of Ioannis Parisis and Artemis Rakitzis finishing first. EOS Metsovo teams featuring Annalena Fafali & Kosmas Bissa, and Paraskevi Pafi & Anastasios Naka, followed in second and third place.

Favourable weather and smooth organisation contributed to a successful competition. The event reaffirmed Naousa’s place as a regular venue for national youth biathlon and underlined the continued development of the sport across Greece.
